NeuroQueer
I designed and illustrated a booklet for ShoutOut that explores the intersection of neurodivergence and LGBTQI+ identity. The resource brings together real stories from queer neurodivergent people in Ireland, alongside practical tools and myth-busting. The booklet centres lived experiences rather than outside assumptions, challenging the tendency to treat these identities as problems to fix.
Sketches
As usual with my way of work, it all starts with the rough concept sketches. With an outline of what to expect in the booklet, I began drafting a rough layout of the entire book. Of course, there were a number of missing pages at the time, but we still had a clear sense of the overall look and direction it would take. All in all, it was an exciting process to be so heavily involved in!
